Hey 2100, I havent been on in a while so i didnt know you picked up new tires. Did you go with the EXP's too? Im creeping up on 30k miles and they are wearing really well. Still havent been stuck yet either somehow. How do you like them so far?

Yea, got that done today. Over the weekend I couldn't do it. A pop up came saying I didn't have access because the box was full. When I checked it today that was gone and I could delete or move to a note pad file.

Is it your birthday Brew? Not that a guy needs a special occasion to eat cake... ya know? Lol

This 302 had a busted bolt in the block when I got it... so tonight I welded a nut on it had hit it with my 1/4" impact while it was still red hot. Came out like butter! Also fixed the $×+/<>:" park brake tonight. That took me about an hour to figure out how the stupid spring and auto adjuster works.

Ohhh... also threw the new oil pump and pickup tube on it. Melling, of course.

Nah, my b-day was back on Earth Day (April 22), older than dirt day lol.

Brother and his wife drove up from Florida this past weekend, since flying wasn't in the cards yet. They rented a new Suburban for the hike. I thought they quit making those huge family trucksters....guess not ehh. Anyway, still had cake left from the weekend lol.

The nut weld trick works every time...if you can get at it anyway.

That's the first time I've used the welded nut deal in a long time. Glad I did. On the 351 I used my heat gun and vice grips for the same bolt. It worked, but not as easily as this.

I had to do that with most of the 98's header bolts a few years back. Not because they broke, they were torx heads that rusted shut....the bottom bolts were fun lol.

That was a good one. The Toyota COULD of pulled that one off, for just one reason....he had a good winch. That pretty much saved the both of them anyway. However, the Toyota dude would need to borrow Matts trailer and a extra 100' of Yankom life line...but what are friends for right. Would of been slow going tho.....

Matts against winches, he's made that clear. I really think he needs one tho. At least a portable that he can connect to a receiver if needed. Yea , he could always call Casey...still, Matt should have his own.....they can really save the day.

Yea, I should comment on his site probably, -see what he says. Maybe hint to Jamie he needs one, perhaps she'll take care of it lol.
