Welp local welding shop quoted $75-100 to fix the hole... gunna try the helicoil for $25 and if it fails I'll have a shop fix it since it's the same price as a timesert. Truck is still a budget build for the foreseeable future lol

Try a muffler shop since it's aluminum. Someone might do it for 20 bucks.

AK, school me on the Raspberry Pi 3 - I see all of these "option a, option b, etc." kits out there. Any idea what the hell all of this is? LOL.

I see Microsoft has written an OS, which appears to be free, for it called IOT. Its got me wanting to play around with one of these.

I guess it was at one time. I still have an old HP Form Factor on the shelf with XP. But man, haven't fired it up in over 10 years, huge possessor for it's time w/HT. Yea, I haven't a use for it. Thought I might someday...hell XP pro is more robust than 2000 pro I expect. Why do I hang onto these things lol ? I have a MAC Mini sitting on top of that.

Perhaps I'll thread that 2000 disk on a chain, frame it and hang it. It looks like a big award metal don't it lol.

Doc and I did Chinese in exam room #12 today, just thpought I'd add that in . She got worried about the take-out smell lingering, so she locked the door for a bit....like that's going to help lol.
