I do agree if you go green go all green! I like both suggestions above!

also didn’t die! Truck ran FLAWLESSLY. AK I can’t thank you enough for helping me tune that motor. It definitely gave me a ton more confidence in the drive down. Then I just hoped the axles didn’t grendade lol. I’ve got some pics and a small “time-lapse” I’ll try to upload tomorrow.

2100....it's not exactly the best way to tune a vehicle, but thanks to messenger video, we made it work. Glad it worked out for you. Like I said, it ran like an old watch, with just the right sounds. That 360 you have is in decent shape, that's for sure.

Hoping to pull the motor out tomorrow. Damn H-pipe fought the hell out of me. Wish I had a gas axe tonight, because I woulda been cutting the s41t out of everything. Found out why the park brake doesn't work...

There's something missing right here.....

And because that is missing, now I have a driveline that looks like this...

Looks like it's time for you to hunt up an Aerostar drive shaft, White. (Or, you could just have my old one if you were close.)

Those go pretty quick here. I know a couple guys that have "backups", so I just hit up our FB page to see if anyone has one they'll sell me. I'd rather have a 96/97 because those are a direct swap. The 92-95 you need one of those adapter u-joints.

Can't decide if I want to pull the motor this morning, or go part hunting. My Buddy told me to just grab an SN95 park brake handle because they fit with small mods, and are also leather wrapped.

Me and my Wife hit the yard this morning... I found a 97 with a "change oil" sticker that said the next oil change was due at 93,000 miles in 2017. The instrument cluster was gone, so I don't know the exact miles.. oh well. I was hoping it was an early style with GT40 heads, but when I got far enough to be able to see, I wasn't stopping, LOL. I forgot my 1/2" wobbly for my impact, and that really slowed me down. Anyway... here's the haul. GT40P heads, Explorer intake, and 65mm throttle body. Went through to try and find a Taurus to get a fan, and they were all third gens, no second gen. No SN95's, no F150's with what you need AK.

Nice haul, White, but why not snag the whole engine? Planning a bigger build for the new one?

Because the 88 has forged internals, the Explorer does not.
