(Is that the one you got, or was it another model?)

AK: Red is lookin' fine!
Yes, that was even the coupon that I used.

Gotcha White. The Daytona I linked wasn't the *Daytona* you looked at. I snapped wide awake in the wee hours of the morn, and in addition to the T-Bird/Blue Angels vid, I watched the video below that goes through the entire line of HF hacks. (Yeah, weird what one will do at 3:45 AM.) I discovered there's a Daytona unit that looks identical to the Series 2 Pittsburgh.

I hate when I wake up like that, LOL. But usually it's because my brain says "hey, I have an idea". I really need it to do that for me pretty soon though, because I need a few more ideas with this steering column... particularly on how to keep it collapsible.

And yeah, I am pretty sure the only difference between the Series 2 and the Daytona is the wheels. I'll have to see if my wheels are greasable, but I do know that mine are not rounded. I did see a zerk on the top of it, so I imagine it has a couple grease points.

Thanks for the heads up on this recall. I'd not heard of it before. My HF 6-ton stands are the orange ones from much earlier than 2013. I don't even know if there's a sticker on them, but they fall well outside of the affected time-frame. It's a good thing, because my Mustang lived on them 24" above the floor for a full winter while rolled around underneath doing everything from cleaning to suspension mods to a clutch R&R.

The 'pitch black' is made by Bondo. I used it last summer when I swapped the windshield lower panels with the ones that weren't cracked. I also used it on the underhood items, and It held up all winter and still looks good today. I'm not sure how the lower valance will fair will all the road water and dirt hitting it directly, but I'll find out. If it doesn't work, I'll drop the bumper and take out the fog lights and redo it in an undercoat/bedliner spray from Rustoleum. I have it on most of my cleaned up undercarriage and it's holding up well.

You guys/gals/whatevers have a very great Memorial Day weekend and hopefully everyone comes back in better shape than before. I'm heading to SquareBanks tomorrow and will be back on Tuesday. Red is full and reyad to go. I'd take Sonya, but I have a bunch of stuff I'm going to drop off on the way, At least he's fun to drive on long trips, so, HAVE FUN. Enjoy the Holiday, and come back safe, if you go anywhere.

I ordered some 1.5" EMT couplings from HD for my steering column build, just to splice columns together. Turns out, 1.5" is more like 2" in EMT couplings. So I went over to O'Reilly last night had luckily, there is an exhaust coupling that is 1.5" ID. It's a snug fit on the Toyota side, but the Mustang side is a little bit loose. I'd like to take up the gap a little before inserting and welding it, just to make it easier to line up.

Been studying the pics my friend sent me of his, and this should be fairly easy if I can find some 3/4" ID couplers now.

EDIT: Can't tell if this is real....

I don't know if any of you watch the NBA much, but a legend of the NBA has passed on. Jerry Sloan's mark is still living on throughout coaching trees in the league today.

OMG!!!!!

Saw that about Sloan on ESPN last night. Those were good years of TV viewing for the NBA.
