Probably because RA isn't a site sponsor.

If everything goes right I'll be able to get back to work on my truck at the end of the month. One thing I've been thinking about doing which I can do now is swap the head bolts for studs. I want to do this without pulling the heads which is normally no problem on an engine that has been run but this is a new engine. Never been run. What I can't find anywhere is if being a new engine and gasket makes any difference? Has anyone ever come across anything about this or have any insight to share?

Good Afternoon Gents. I see AK got a Mevotech idler arm the other day and that got me wondering, Moog or Mevotech? I need to rebuild the front end on 200k + 2002 and I've always been a Moog guy but if Mevotech is good enough for AK, who's opinion I seriously respect, perhaps it is good enough for me. With 200k on the clock I suspect this is the last time the front end will be rebuilt all though my 2000 went for 334k before someone ran a red light and finished it off. Saving a few buck would be nice but not at the expense of needing to do this again in 50k. Would any of you guys mind offering up some opinions of which you would go with? I'm sure others have discussed this before but I'm really only interested in the opinions of the thinkers here. I don't care about Skyler's opinion if you know what I mean.

"Chickity China the Chinese chicken/ Yuh have a drumstick and your brain stops tickin'/ ...

Now I have that song stuck in in my head. I don't even know what the song is. It is from a genre adjacent to what I listen to so I have heard it many times but never cared enough to know what it is. Now it's driving me nuts! Thanks Brew.

I honestly think some of the Mevotech stuff is actually BETTER than Moog. Their TTX series is some serious business. Like Moog, however, they've got different levels of quality. I think it depends on what series you get.

Have a gander at these bad boys...

Just got off the phone with the hospital my sister is in and I was told she's tested positive for the Corona virus. They did say there are false positives and she will be tested again. Now I have to get tested again also. Oh joy!

Just FYI, looked these ball joints up and Rock Auto has them as TXK's but TTX is stamped on the parts.

River, that's awesome man! Hopefully everything goes to plan!

I just saw your Covid post. Be careful with that man. My wife just had it had even though it wasnt much fun for her I somehow didnt catch it. They say O positive blood handles it better for some reason so maybe there is something to that.

Thanks JP. I'm confident it will this time. The last year has sucked but I think it's about over.
