I'm not sure what you read or where you read it but I believe you have it backwards. On the real F&S's, this grind is on the newer knives. Although some of the replica's are made like the originals so it really depends on the eras referred to. The current NATO's have the grind.

Now that is interesting and I definitely had it backwards. What I read said that the grind was somehow evidence of it being hand fitted. I'm sure I book marked it but I haven't tried to confirm any of the information through other sources yet. It was definitely the one of the first places I started but now I'm going to be skeptical of what I read.

There are so many replica's and outright fakes out there now you need to be careful. Remember this is an original Wilkinson so stick to that. One last hint for you. Originally there was the SAS. A second command was created which made 1st SAS and 2nd SAS. This is about 2nd SAS formed in Algeria in 1943. That's it though. The rest is up to you and you'll need the blogs.

That's what I have been noticing. I might have to brush up on my SAS history too then. I'll let you know when I get this figured out. Or at least when I think I do.

Well... I'm about to check out of the hotel, go to class and finish my final project, take a test, then head home. It has been a really long time since I have used any type of programming language outside of HTML, XML, etc. This has definitely activated parts of my brain that have not been turned on in years. For any of you that may be familiar with machining software, from what my research shows, this is very similar to KAREL that a few CNC machines use.

Hey, at least I knew binary already, LOL. This is much different than anything I've programmed before. I mostly deal with X, Y, and sometimes Z at work. This added P, R, and W (Pitch, Roll, and Yaw).... but it the instructor said DO NOT go learn P, R, W for airplanes and expect it to translate to robots. It is not the same.

Any of you guys mess with robots at all?
