Yeah, I've seen all 5 of them. They come out a lot earlier on the Motor Trend app. I don't want to spoil it for you, but that poor T-Bird takes a turn for the worst in a Roadkill episode.
The Fox chassis encompassed a lot of vehicles that people didn't realize. Rather than typing it all out, this lists them all towards the bottom. TECHNICALLY the SN95 chassis is a Fox as well. So that chassis went from 1978 to 2004.
Now that is interesting. I remember the conception of the "World Car" idea. My dad had talked about it at times at probably the dinner table. A lot was happening in the 70's in the auto industry, changes were being planned but I never put it together or realized the Fox body platform was part of the World Car idea. Makes sense now. I remember the Mustang II was planned to be a short lived car. I did know the first Fox Bodies were the Cortina made in England but I didn't know it was as prevalent as it is\was. I appreciate it.
Mine is this one. When I looked at the silver one you posted, and this one side by side, the red one is EASILY worth the extra money. This coupon is still good until the end of June.
EDIT: The Daytona's are great jacks too, but I don't think they are THAT much better than this one I got. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if they are made in the same building.
There's good reason to complain about a lot of HF stuff but I've never had a problem with their jacks. Picked up their 3 ton long reach, low profile Daytona in the fall for the lift height, 24.25", and couldn't be happier.
Also, at my work we had a strange thing.
We had a Covid induced mini stroke.
It was on Monday but I just heard about it today.
One of our fitters was fine in the morning. ~10:30 am they said they didn't feel well. He was sitting and then got up to go to the break room. Fell over and others came to help. Said he couldn't walk. Welder gave him a ride to urgent care.
He had a mini stroke, caused by covid. No test done. It was just declared to be a covid case.
I asked our safety person and he verified it and told me why.
As a covid injury it is not reportable to VOSH so doesn't change the company experience ratio. His bills are now covered by a state covid fund and his pay is now covered by a state fund (if he stays employed which he will).
His bills are not going to go against our company workmans comp.
I wonder how many other cases are out there that are for economic reasons.
The stroke wasn't very bad and I'm told he could be back in 2 or 3 weeks.
I got a $3000 Ford personal cash offer on a new F150. I wonder why they think I'm rich?

I can't help you with the Escape alarm, White, but on the matter of floor jacks: I've been thinking about getting a 3-ton low-profile one for awhile now. I bought a small aluminum low-pro one from HF when I lowered my Mustang, and have had a Craftsman 3-ton for decades that just keeps on hanging in there (though it does seep fluid once in awhile). It's a PITA, though, when I want to raise the Mustang higher than the little one will go (and now that I'm thinking about it, probably the TLX as well). Neither of them has the "rapid-pump" feature either, and that gets old fast on the truck. Now that I've thought all this through, maybe I *can* justify buying a new one. Thanks a lot, White.
River: There are a few guys on the Corral forums with T-birds (and Fairmonts). Most anything you can stick on a Foxbody Mustang will also fit those. I often considered getting a mid-80's 'Bird because of that, and the ability to make a bit of a sleeper. The unique-ness of the project fits my style, too.
..
Interesting. First I've heard of Corral. An old friend down the street just picked up '49 Crosley he's building in to a gasser. Although he's got a Chevy 427 for it the suspension is all Fox body based. There are places that make the stuff to fit even this obscure, old British car. He had said he had built his last car but this virus had him home and bored.
White, No problem with the heads up on the Bird. It's not like it's completely unexpected and there were some obvious suspension problems so I kind of look forward to seeing what happens. Unfortunately I don't do apps.

God I love Roadkill show.
That and old Top Gear are the only reason Motortrend gets my fee.
Red got his second oil change today, before the weather went south. That new engine didn't use a drop of oil, so I'm pleased. Most use some oil, but Red's motor was clean. The oil cap didn't have a drop of condensation, even after driving the whole winter on that oil. I'm pleased. I'm so glad I bought it from Ford and not another rebuilder.
I took a pic of Red's new bumper today with the "restore black" on it. It didn't turn out too bad. If I really want to change the color, I can always tape it off or
drop it and paint it. It lined up fairly well.
White: Thanks for the feedback. The Daytonas certainly look better-made, with the gusseted rear wheel mounts and C-channel frame, but for my occasional use, and with the coupon (thank you, again), the Series 2 Pittsburgh might be worth a closer look. (Is that the one you got, or was it another model?)
AK: Red is lookin' fine!
