My high torque mini starter showed up today.... Frankie's starter has a S L O W solenoid, and it get's hung on the flywheel from time to time. I have one of these starters for both Stang's now. Just got to get around to doing it.

Also got a smoke machine on the way so I can figure out just where the vacuum leak is on this pig. I am pretty dang sure it's going to be in the fender well. Why? That's my luck, LOL. It's been wrecked, and there's a reservoir in there.

Ok so I know we are all Ford fans here but have yall seen the Ram TRX? If I were looking for a brand new truck that might take the cake.

Sorry JP. A Chrysler product is the one vehicle I definitely won't own.

Good morning fellers!- just letting AK know im still kicking!!- just back from two weeks vacation- ( hah!- the mrs. had surgery, so im the house bitch until she is back to full steam)
Its all the same here, retirees are breaking us- the company wont bring back any more maintenance, so they expect us old geezers to work like we’re 30 again. AND on straight time.
Oh well, it beats being unemployed ( maybe)(?)
Hope all you fellers are doing well and keeping the old iron humming along!-
You guys stay safe at your salt mine, ill check in later!
Peace to all!

I absolutely understand the sentiment but I can admire the supercharged v8 they stuffed in there. If it does nothing but get ford to SC the 7.3 in the new gen raptor I will be all too thrilled. lol

If Chrysler does to the SC what they did with their turbos it's just disaster ahead. They spec'd them to be made a cheaply as possible and the manufacturers took the hit for it. That's Chrysler. None of then came with ball bearings. Then there are issues like Chrysler specing the dealers to remove the front splitters because the SC's and turbos were burning the paint off them except they looked like hell without them so customers said don't remove them and then they paid. That's Chrysler. That's how they work and always have. In the 90's I worked with Jim Thornton who ran Chryslers racing department in the in the heyday of the muscle car and designed the Superbird and Daytona among many other things. He left Chrysler over this nonsense and they haven't changed. The "Little Red Truck" is something he made happen and when he left they wrote him right out of the story. Management took credit for it when it's well documented they were solidly against supporting it. Again, that's Chrysler. My uncle was a Scottish born and trained tin smith who worked for Chrysler who made prototype body panels by hand and he never had a good word to say about the company he worked for. The company changed in the late 50's early 60's but he couldn't afford to change jobs by then. There's just nothing good to say about the company. It's almost like they are the American Ferrari. They only build cars to sell so they can race and they only build for the next race. After that, oh well.
AS someone recently wrote about, Confirmation bias? Maybe but I don't care.
