What's up guys. It looks like we are on to another topic. LOL. This thread goes right then left then center. LOL.
I just got back from the North Pole. Went up, took a tonneau cover for an 06 F150 for a buddy. We went out on the snow machines and I froze my lips almost. Damn it was cold (-06F) and the wind on my face was like ice burning into the skin. We were going over 50 mph cross the snow. It was wild. We had fun, but I'm paying for it still today. I've got skin pealing all over. Not a pleasant position, but it's gone down a lot since Saturday. I wouldn't even go to the store. It looked that bad.
Anyways, coming back, I saw 9 moose by the highway, and 1 Bull in the middle of the road. That big sob wouldn't move either. I had my brakes on, sliding on the ice, he still wouldn't move. I ended up about 4 feet from him when I stopped. He looked at me, and walked into the woods. If he'd only done that 4 or 5 seconds earlier, it would of been better. Oh well, no damage, other than my shorts. I guess I should of been driving a bit slower (70 when I rounded the corner) but that is the way I drive between Anchorage and Fairbanks. Nice road, it just snowed the night before.
I did my gas check when I got back, running 65-70 almost the whole distance, I got 16.2 mpg coming from Fairbanks. Going up, I only got 15.3 mpg. It's more up hill going north, so that should be the difference. If I run in the 55-60 range, I get almost another mpg, so once the engine goes over 1700 rpms, the fuel goes down big time. Under 1700, best gas mileage on my 4.6 in Blue. I haven't tried lil Red on a long trip, but it wasn't that bad pulling my 4000# boat thru the mountains to his house. I'll have to check it in the spring. Lil Red is in drydock for the winter. LOL

I swear, if Congress could have a discussion(s) like this thread, something might get done in there. If you notice, we almost always come to a conclusion on a topic, then move on. Do you think we should give them an idea on how to work together? We don't even know each other, yet we get along and come up with answers. What does Congress do? LOL, no one knows. especially not them. ROFL
