Thinking
Yeah, it's a great TV so far. I'll be honest though - I can't tell a diff between 1080P and 4K. Also finally got it hooked up to the antenna last night. We get 60 HDTV channels that are over the air. So between that, Sling, Amazon, and Plex - I've got a lot to watch. Plex has free movies and TV shows, and then I also have all of my own stuff running through Plex too.

Do you get any connectivity drops with your own server, is that aspect much improved ?
If I am going through Plex via Firestick, no. It is always good. Using DLNA, the Samsung 40 drops off the network all the time and the 55 does sometimes even using a static IP. I thought it was my WD MyCloud dropping, but it turns out it was the TV's.

My wife was all in on RCA. It was the only TV she would buy. She never caught on to "they ain't what they use to be." Sometimes you just don't argue and live with cringe and bear it.
Actually I thought maybe it was some type of wi-fi or something similar. Having just drywalled the basement though and knowing where the TV was going to be meant a good job of pre-planning for it. My home is over 100 years old with plaster walls and some textured. Tearing in to the walls is a real PITA. The old 2x4's and oak trim has gotten so hard over the years they have to be pre-drilled to drive any nails in to them. With screws, the heads just get stripped without pre-drilling.
Is Zenith even made anymore? Currently using a 52" Samsung. The only problem I have with it is finding the remote. Everything works off the remote.
That F250 is an interesting find. As always, you can't stop at one click. Check out some of the stuff going up for auction in THIS ARTICLE. (10th-gen content: There's an '01 Lightning in the mix.)
You may also want to check out Vudu and Crackle. Lots of free stuff on those two, with commercials. I'm OK with that though. They are always shorter than the TV commercials are.
Well as I'm deciding which amp I want to go with... today my truck decides to slip out of gear TWICE while driving (one time at a stop light trying to go when green and the other time stopped and trying to turn left in front of traffic) also twice today it took about 4 seconds to engage into Drive from park... time to switch focus and get this figured out
