They're a third of the price OEM is.
If they're 1/3 the price, they aren't really HP. The Chinese scrap you found isn't worth the box it comes in.

I would think about it for a known brand, like MDS, perhaps. Since I'm stock, I'd only consider it on price, reviews/reputation, and as a stock replacement, because no amount of marketing claims is going to make them do anything to increase performance.

Motorcraft, Denso, or bust.

Anything shorter will result in decreased reception. You won't notice it in town with local station s, but you'll lose stations sooner as you get further away.

Not necessarily. The Fuba antennas VW used to use had amps in the base and they worked great. In fact, I think they worked better than a standard antenna.

EDIT: From what I can tell, all Fubas are roof mount - I don't want that extra height.

Looks like some more of "Yellowstone" is going to be filmed just down the road from me.

Something like this could work - if they really work.

Mornin' fellers.

Sure is gloomy outside today. Don't think anything will get done on the car tonight... I took yesterday off because Friday and Saturday drained me. Nearly 100 degrees both days.

I am going to go hit up the paint shop by work this week and see how much they want for some flexible filler, and I also still need some flex agent to add to the paint for the bumpers.
