Evan, that sounds like an awesome deal to me. I have to side with AK on both counts too. The clunk makes me think CV but the clicks make think ICW.

Yeah first time having to put the warranty to use lol. They’re going to check it out tomorrow I’ll let you know what it is then. My first guess was CV axle but who knows.

She’s still pretty clean for being in the rust belt since new.

400M Big Block.... LOL. Ford doesn't even call it a big block.

Looks like the LS swap feller committed suicide to me.... Epstein style.

Weren't they called mid blocks or something like that? Maybe the kids got a push rod fetish and loves the smell of a bent push rod in the morning. It smells like losing. That has finally started to change though.

As a Ford guy thru and thru, why in the hell would anyone want a 400M? If I want a big displacement engine, then the 460 is it. The 400M, I hate, personally. Not a fan of the low to No oil pressure high mileage engines like this. The 351M is ok, but the tall block 400 is a joke.`

The Ford Motorsport catalog had them listed as under small blocks. If I had one handy (I've got a couple in boxes somewhere) I would post the page.

Man, she's a beaut. I love that color. About a month ago there was a 2013 KR that was at DJ's dealer. Had only 13k miles. It was black with tan 2 tone. Talk about a head turner. It looked like this one
