4V cobra based...Nav engine? Not a bad swap, there is quite a bit to it. I have the parts list for that swap somewhere.

Would be interesting to watch. The 4v swaps I've witnessed on line weren't detailed all that well. I guess the only downside might be, well, it can be a pita to keep some of those engines running right. From what I recall, once they begin having problems..... On the other hand, some don't have problems at all. I guess it's how thorough you are covering all the bases... with the engine itself. Or just getting lucky, having a good one to swap in.

On another note... I don't think I've ever seen it take 3 days to stab a transmission....
If you're referring to the transmission won't fit thread the parts he bought don't go together for a 2003. Where he bought it lists a "refer to" reference for his truck. Apparently that won't prevent putting the trans on though.

Yeah, that's the one. He didn't care to acknowledge my help, so "oh well".

That would drive me insane knowing that was out in the garage sitting like that. My OCD would be kicking in for sure.

Well... I assume it's the same basic setup as the Cobra up top. I think it's just a regular Windsor block though. This dude is very thorough. Hopefully he takes a lot of pics. I've seen him build some pretty cool stuff. He blew the motor in it recently, and this is the replacement.

Posting for 2 reasons. One, it looks like this box did have an option for a regular drawer, and two.... I got a good deal!

What are you looking for? The 3550 was both a transmission and a line of transmissions including the TKO's.

Regular Windsor block ? Huh, not sure what that means lol. Oh he's just bolting on cobra heads, correct ? Not a full Nav swap, 5four ?

Wait, this isn't a F150 is it white ? I'm guessing Stang now lol.

Yea, in the 150's you have to change quite a bit of stuff...like say power steering components, miscellaneous crap..

Brew your first assumption was correct, it is an F150... I think it's an 01 and it's done A LOT of work. Really been a god truck for him.

He has a complete Gator to do the swap....

Do yall remember the user that did the 4v swap and said it wasnt worth it. I think his name was myfx4 but I cant remember exactly. I'm pretty sure his issue was that he decided to use the cobra cams and killed his low end torque. Not exactly sure what he was expecting in a heavy truck with 35s though. He built the motor out completely then went with used cams. Really left me scratching my head.
