Thanks! Damn that is one good looking truck, 3.7 or 3.5?

Do you know the date of the catalog? Posting the page isn't necessary. I'm just curious if the catalogs help date when Ford started using the small\big block designations. It was originally a GM designation that Ford never used until people started using it with engine comparisons between Ford and GM. At some point Ford succumbed to using the terms also. Some places like DIY Ford use the term middle or mid block for the Cleveland engines. I've got a book on building the Cleveland around someplace and it tosses the "mid" word around also. I've also heard mid block used as one of the guesses about the "M" designation for the engine along with Modified, Midland and Mid-Michigan blocks. More than 50 years later people are still arguing that one on the internet.

AK, My 76 Montego has a 351M and it has its oil issues too. Jon Kasse built a 400M for one of the engine building contests and I don't remember the exact numbers but they were over 600 for both HP and Torque on pump gas. He did discuss how he dealt with the oil issues with the engine in what I read. IIRC he won the contest with the engine.

About the pushrods. In some European countries GM's vehicles are named Vauxhall's and for racing they have a reputation similar to what the Yugo had here. Talking about bent pushrods is understood to mean a reference to Vauxhall. It's usually a punchline.

It was a 3.5. Ford would never put the 3.7 in the king ranch. Personally I'm not a big fan of the 5.0. The power difference between the 3.5 and 5.0 '11-'14 years was much greater than 2019s imo. They are closer to neck and neck now in many performance tests. I absolutely LOVE the color combo of that one
I downloaded the pics of the one at DJ's dealer to my phone but when I tried to post them it said "file cant be uploaded" I'll try another way

Would have been mid to late 90's. I know one of them is orange, and I think the other is red white and blue.

Not crazy about the color, but that one looks really good. Perfect stance, nicest rims and real tires vs rubber bands. Like it!

Saw this yesterday. So considerate to stick around with a letter of explanation.

Was kind of hoping you'd say something like 1972.
