Yea didn't you have the engine replaced in that on recently AK? It makes even more sense then. The spring gets wasted when disconnecting the rail. They become frail with age. I bet it just let go. It's why I replace those if they require disconnect, the take a hobby brush and coat the spring w/3M dielectric.

Well the amp works when I punch it and then the sub fires so I'm leaning towards the amp lol. Percussive maintenance was working but the up time of the amp has dwindled significantly almost down to zero now.
So what dimensions is your current amp? The problem with getting 300 watts at 4ohm is that you need a 500 watt to get adequate power.

I decided to go with an infinity basslink sm to fit behind my back seat. 125 watt rms should be just enough bump to fill out my missing lows.

Just making sure you didn't REALLY think I was that dumb you made me second guess my wording since I used "behind" and "rear wall" together lol

The PN1.650D with 400W at 4 Ohms would be my choice for a good, economical, compact amp in your application unless you want to take advantage of the situation and amp all the speakers (if not already done).

..
I've thought about putting the amp to all my speakers... don't tempt me lol I'll look into that one tho

It's dark and rainy right now, I'll get some pics and specs tomorrow.

Anyone have any recommendations for an amp? Needs to be fairly small as it fits in the center dimple of the rear wall behind the ext cab seat. I suppose I could move it but I'd prefer not to. Powering 1 pioneer sub (linked https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K9852GA..._LvkNIVHNfVBeY)
If I was buying an amp right now, I'd rock this Orion. Most powerful amp I've ever owned is an Orion Cobalt 500.1

Rated at 500W, it kicks the **** out of my 1000W Pioneer.

White, - 3:00, -

Tina S is #1 IMO.

Laura Lace a close second, if you followed this one...Aces perfection marks. Not sure who's faster, those girls are far beyond...they are clean @ Mach 2 lol. I would love to see those two in a Satriani comparison. Anyway, here's one from Laura, -

Sofia Lloyd, I know she's one of your favorites , likewise! She would be a blast to have over, fun personality and a beauty of course lol. She can play and wins when it comes to soul. She has a vid out with her talking about her, well guitar biog. She's hilarious lol.
That was a cool Christmas vid you posted up, haven't seen that one yet.

Which are your favorites AFA up and comers ?

Yes I did. I got it back Sept 3rd. Red has 1100 miles on him. They replaced all the rail seal and went thru everything. They also checked out my 4x4 and found a small pin hole rub in a hose and took care of that at the same time.

We drove it this afternoon and now it is great on the off road side. He takes off well in 2wd on the ice, but with the front engaged, he is right off the line. I'm liking him more and more as I drive him. There isn't much I have displeasure with right now so now its tme to put in my interior crap in and finish that up. I have a newer dash top (mine has 2 small deep scratches that don't look right). At the same time I'm going to throw in the new RGB T10 bulbs in my dash and see how that works out. They finally arrived yesterday. Then the shell goes on, and the pillar handle and visors, and he's done. At least until something new peaks my interest.. LOL

White, I am addicted to his videos. The man knows exactly what he is talking about. That reminds me l, he did a mini walmart amp a while back that really surprised him. I think it was a dual.

Ak, I have to honestly say that my reg cab with the 5.4 was the most capable truck I have ever owned. I'm loving Reds progression so far.
