I went on top of the existing panels... screwed right into them. They were ugly as hell, and the trim was some kind of MDF type stuff that was weather beaten and swollen from moisture.
After 18 years my old Ridgid shop vac finally bit the dust...the big one anyway, 16 or 18 gallon. Man that thing has sure served me well. Yea the motor burned up on it...stunk up the place lol.
I remember seeing those when I purchased my smaller one a few years ago. I need another big one that will travel though. Yea, those wall units would be nice for garage, -someday lol.
That old one had some serious sucking hours on it lol.
The motor sounded a little funny the last year or so, but it still did the job. So, I knew it was going south, hung in there for awhile though. Great vacs for sure.
At some point I am going to have to get some custom corners made... these don't fit how I'd like them to. Plus, although the color is named "cocoa brown" like the rest of the trim panels, they are not the exact same color. But this will do just fine for the winter.
EDIT: Don't one of you own a Gorilla Ladder too? I had these pop up on a FB ad, and as looking at them. Man... I guess I need some now, LOL. They let you turn the ladder into 2 trestles to hold scaffolding.
Looks really good to me, White!
I'd let it set for the winter and reassess in the spring. You might find that it's close enough/good enough. If not, then back to it!
