That looks good! I need to replace mine, just because I don't have any idea how old it is. AND... Not too sure what it is made out of, but it looks like the copper/brown colored stuff you use for swamp coolers. It got some decent stress too when I was having pressure build-up issues. One of my main reasons for wanting to change it is because it goes right behind the stove and right next to the receptacle too.

Is PEX good if I run it behind the stove?

The old one actually still charged, but the brushes were going bad... the lights flickered at idle. I should probably put new brushes in it.

Well, I finished the framing of the family room last night. Got some mre of the wiring ran too. I think I am going to do these new surface mount LED lights for it.... have you guys seen these? I was looking at them at HD yesterday. These are a little better deal n Amazon though...

Dropping it off at the shop tomorrow. With getting animals and tractors ready for our county fair and the heat index of 110 with 90% humidity and just finished my trucks brake line that blew (still dripping from the union) .... I don't have the time Energy or will power to mess with that mess. Hopefully I have it back tomorrow evening...

Our escape is at 230,xxx miles and besides the fan clutch I did over winter we have had zero issues but with this alternator I don't think I'll ever get another one lol.
Told my wife next vehicle is a truck or the new bronco cz I ain't working on a car/small suv ever again lol

Fan clutch? Do you mean replacing the electric fans?

I really like mine. The fact that they can pop right into an existing can is pretty neat too. The only lights in my house that arent led are the oven, hood, dryer, and outdoor lights.

I need to find an LED light for a microwave/hood combo. Those incandescent lights get so damn hot.

Thanks, White. THIS is the stuff that was originally installed. It's on the left in the pic below, with PEX on the right. As for running it behind the stove, I guess I'll let you know. It's fastened to the wall 6" above the floor. I can't think it will see much heat there.

OK, I was wondering if a pic hadn't posted in your previous post. That looks WAAAY more robust. I was just looking at a pre-fabbed 25 foot piece of PEX that Whirlpool sells. I think I might stop by HD in SLC this week and get it. They don't carry it at my store.
