I'll go back through the links to be sure before I go cutting wires but if I have no power to the pcm at pin 55 and I do have power at the fuse box then I should pull the fuse and run a fused link from pin 55 to the positive terminal? Or am I missing something important? Lol

JP....If I remember it right, that is correct. I was just stating to use a 5 amp fuse and not a 10.

Fair enough sir.

Those expresses make my skin crawl. It could have been a really cool truck but the door lettering kills it for me.

LOL, yep!

This probably sounds a bit silly... but I am ecstatic because I filled up the old gas pig tonight, and it got 14.56 miles per gallon on the last tank. I usually get 13 with the winter blend.

Checked that fuse in the cab and it still has juice. I'll be checking under the hood when I get home today. Wish me luck guys. Lol

JP....

There is a small fuse box that is all the way against the drivers fender, almost to the firewall. It's got tape around it. It is right next to the larger fuse and relay box. Pull the tape off that, and check that 5amp fuse inside. It is related to the KAM. I stumbled upon this by accident on my Expy when I was trying to figure out why the factory amp didn't work.

I apologize that I did not chime in sooner, I didn't realize that was the issue you were chasing.

That sounds awful. I hope you get them before the springs knock a hole in the bed.

No worries bud. I'll see if I can find what you are talking about and holler this afternoon. Hopefully it will be fixed. Lol
