Red got the tonneau cover put back on for the winter yesterday. I did it in bedliner spray, so it has the slight texture I like. Looks good with the black on top of the red. Sort of balances the look. I still need to adjust it about 1/2 inch forward, but the wind came up so bad while trying to install it, we made it work. This pm we'll go ahead a set it perfect. Trying to add one when the winds whip up to almost 60mph, is a bit too much, lol.

I was going to move to the valley at the end of November (my rented out lake house), but the family there is needing to stay until May. I told them to do it. I don't mind moving back out there in the nice weather over winter, anytime. At least I have 6 more months of rental income to spend.

A thought on something I've noticed.

I don't participate in any of the other generation forums because I don't know much, actually pretty much nothing, about those generations but I do read them and I don't think there's any doubt that the 10th gen participants are the most knowledgeable about their vehicles. I think some of this is due to just the fact that the 10th gen is the older vehicle so naturally more experience with the vehicles comes with that but there's more to it than that. A comaraderie has been developed on this forum that doesn't exist on the others. There's also an eagerness to share that doesn't come across on the other forums like it does here. It may sound corny but FWIW I appreciate what you guys have built here. In todays social media environment it's not an easy thing to do.

OK, thought it deserved to be said and enough of the odd.

I like Red's winter look, AK. If I ever got a hard cover, it would probably be an Undercover one. They come in a textured black, and I like it.

Sophie? Are you day drinking again Whitey? It's Sonya. You were close, lol.

Don't blame me for this thread. I only started it and it went from there, It's the members who make the thread go or die. That and sometimes the OP will tend to P/Off the members and it dies for that very reason. This thread has absorbed a little of everything, and it made it a safe feeling place for people.

Note: I got a text from Bear the other day. He is still around, but had problems (physically) and has been tied up with sports for the son/grandson (?). I wish him a full recovery and a great fall. He'll be back. AK

I was wondering about Bear, I was going ask if anyone had heard from him several times now, but for one reason or another I never typed it out.

This is defiantly my favorite forum. Since I got my Fiesta ST I've been hitting forums about it. There is some knowledge there, but nothing like what we have right here. Maybe the millennials that buy them all get their fix on another form social media or something. I really wish there were more quality people over there. I guess I'll just have to keep hanging out with the cool kids over here.
