Thinking
I accepted that before writing but this is actually something that makes Thanksgiving Diner in my family something to avoid. It's painful to listen to someone in the family carry on about the truth to this and other nonsense.
Specially when then mouths are full of bird....know whatcha mean there.

The last couple years the siblings have started to peel off because they have been grandparents for a while and want to have their own traditions. My wife's dad just became a grandfather last year for the first time but we still went. We aren't in a hurry to kick out the great grandparents.. they won't be alive forever and we will miss them when they are gone.
Oh and there's 2 families that have now had a major falling out with everyone. It's a shame cz really they are throwing hissyfits causing the problems and refusing to show up when everyone else is like "we don't care about the problems you're causing just come anyway".
Oh and the mother in law is 1 of 6.
My family is tiny compared to hers LOL
We used to do Thanksgiving at my in-laws, but they've both passed away now. My family has an open invite to my Grandma's house for the 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve. I am the oldest grandchild, and I've never missed Christmas Eve, or the 4th. My streak of 45 straight years (and counting) will be unbeaten, LOL.
