Hey my $10 elm327 WiFi adapter and my phone work perfectly for me so far. If I ever exceed the limitations lll buy a dedicated scanner but so far I've been happy with the diagnostic abilities of the phone apps.

So my Acura's Transmission was going out and I was looking at finding a used car. I read somewhere that Ford is blowing out their Fiesta ST for under $18k ($22k+ base price). Sure enough after some hard negotiation I was out the door for 17 and change. If you don't know what one is, just google it and read how much anyone who has driven one adores it. It is too small and maybe dorky looking for some but it is stoopid fun to drive. AND it comes with this https://www.stoctaneacademy.com/en/ Looks like I'll be in your neck of the woods sometime in the near future White. I figure for my 65+ mile daily commute I'll save some gas and tear up the corners on the weekends. If I need anything bigger, I always have my F150. HWY 101 should be fun this weekend.

Yea , but that wasn't available back then...you were probably still in diapers lol.

But yea, you're correct, you can get set up pretty cheap nowadays with a phone app like Torque Pro.

I'm sure you already know this but that's not what he said but the spin has become part of the lexicon. What he actually said was about being on the Senate committee that approved and wrote the legislation for the funding to create a universal internet. It was originally a military communication and information network. The "I invented" stuff is funny until you run in to someone that believes to the core that this is what he said. Then it is just sad. IMO, there isn't a politician that doesn't have a purely pathetic side or history of comments worthy of scrutiny. The truth is enough to call out anyone one of them over nonsense and Gore has offered up more than most. I'm particularly fond of when Dee Snyder of Twisted Sister called out Tipper Gore for having a dirty mind when she was going after music lyrics. He said some next level stupid things trying to defend his wife and her comments.

Yes to be clear I don't believe he actually said it, was just trying to make a joke proving I was old enough to remember the internet and that al gore was mocked for inventing it lol.
