My hearing is gone in my right ear and my left varies between 50 to 70% loss. I use to listen to almost everything but now it depends on dominant frequencies. I like the song Kashmir by Zepplin and occasionally I can listen to it but usually it's uncomfortable and sometimes even hurts. When I traveled a lot I liked getting out and listening local or ethic music. My favorites were the folk and Flamingo music's of Spain and Portugal and the drum heavy tribal music of Morocco. Otherwise classic rock always worked.
Last night I went to a demolition derby.... and I am about to go again tonight. The purse is 35K tonight.... this is one of the bigger derby's in the state. This was the main event last night.... these guys were competing to get in to the derby tonight.
Then this is my work I did today.... ran some RG6 cable, then threw up a couple walls.
Well ****.... I typed a LONG paragraph, and it disappeared on me.
AK, did you already get Red back yet? How does she do?I always recommend the WD MyCloud. It is accessible via my phone (app available in Play Store). It has DLNA, so that makes it accessible on the devices throughout the network. It impresses the hell out of me that it can handle multiple tasks at once. I am streaming M*A*S*H and also uploading more video to it as I type this. It also has an expansion port (USB) that I have an 8TB drive plugged into. I have the 3TB version of the MyCloud. Ohhhh.... you can also access it via web browser. It's really handy to pull things off of it at work if needed.
Everything I have bought has been their VS series, except I bought one ASUS Pro monitor - which is pretty badazz. It is plane switching and comes on a rotating stand to accommodate that.
On the music question. Driving, mostly rock, metal, upbeat pop. At home, Petty, Seger, Mellencamp, etc. The only country I liked was from about 98-05. With my GF, whatever she wants and I tolerate it. Most of it sucks but old R&B/soul isn't bad. lol.
Now for a confession. My absolute fav's is doo-wop and bubblegum. I know..........
EDIT: After looking at the pics on the computer rather than my phone's little screen, it looks like this thing was rode hard and put away wet all its life. ..
