Whitey....I just got a call from the lady who has the Fairmont Futura I talked about last summer. $400 if I can get it in the next 2 weeks. I told her yes. Now to get Dan's slideback to go pick it up and take it to my buddy's. I guess that 331 on the stand will get some use this summer. Now to locate a useable rear axle. That's why it's sitting she told me last year. Clean body but the left rear big lens is broken. That will be expensive I'm guessing. Not a lot of the Glidden bodies still around. Should be a fun (yeah right) project. lol

Dude... I'm jealous. That's the ultimate sleeper. Fox Body, grandma car.

Fast forward to 2:57 and see my dream.... only thing better would be if it was baby blue in color.

Yeh, I'm pretty sure I'm not allowed to pick up anything new for a while. The wife is holding out hope on a new bronco... if Ford doesn't price them too high. So I guess that will be next if I'm lucky. Lol

I'll tell you right now.... you do NOT mess with SLCPD. This dude is believed to have held up a couple gas stations, then started firing shots into a Sheraton hotel before leading police on a chase. You do that, you may as well call yourself dead. The 7-11 in the photos is where I stop to get a protein bar when I go pick up computer parts.

I've always loved the "sleeper Fairmont" projects. Can't wait to see where yours goes.
