Is it really that hard to do a compression test on these motors?

I've never done a modular motor, but I did buy one of the Lisle extensions for a modular....

Just making sure I wasn't missing something, LOL. I mean.... it can't be much harder than changing plugs. A lot of guys act like 4 and 8 are the worst thing they've ever done on a vehicle..... they oughta do plugs on a Catfish Z28/SS Camaro. Or a starter on a Northstar. Then tell me Ford had a bad design, LOL.

Yea there's always times when you need the right extensions, like with the starters on these trucks. Need the perfect combo to make the job easy. Some folks won't purchase a tool to save their life, but they'll borrow one...then it's like pulling teeth making them return it. My little brother is good for that.

Of course, having good common sense always helps. Not being one those people that break everything they touch (like my grandson) is a plus as well.
I don't NEED it right now, but my Buddy has had it at his place longer than I had it at mine. The 5.4 is pulled, BTW. And to answer your question from the other thread... the first one we pulled was out of the wrecked truck, and now this one is out of his truck with a spun bearing.
I've busted a few things in my early years of wrenching.... you catch on pretty quick when it comes out of your own pocket, lol.
Sometimes it's your engine hoist.... LOL

Yea, I figured you didn't want to talk about the neighbors 3v in that the others thread, that could of went long. lol.
Hey , I cracked 7 out of 8 champion spark plugs on a R&R when I was younger. I was a big help lol.
See this one, it's in GD. What's your take, is this guy full of the moo moo or what, -

It was his claims about being a decent mechanic hence questions asked. Also the statement about how he likes or what he is use to when working on engines.
Folks were attempting to help him at first, but after that BS they seem to have scattered ha ha.
Anyway yea, I since attempted to get more info out of him due to that fishy prevalence. The thread might nose dive at this point I expect lol.
