Thinking
Ok guys, thank you for the cleaning tips. Here is how the carpets turned out today. Yes it took some elbow grease, and a lot of water. It was over 100 in the sun, and almost 80 in the shade. For a place close to the sun in the summer, this is freaking hot. It's like being in Washington State at 100 degrees. I'm like a melted Popsicle right now. lol
Again Thanks guys for the ideas. I went with HOT water, a drop in laundry pod, some downy, and lots of scrubbing. Now it smells really nice, and looks 99% better in my opinion.

Actually, even with all your kidding around guys, the Downy makes the carpet soft when done, as well as neutralizing any smoke or noxious odors. I was reading online last night after you guys got me on the right track. It showed how it made the fibers softer and made the removal of dirt easier. It worked in my opinion.
So there. lol
So there. lol
