That looks dangerous to me. No holster on a Glock like that is asking for a negligent discharge.

How, you would have to jack a round into the chamber first. I keep a round in when it sits in the drawer at home but not in the truck.

In Texas, just hand the officer your CHL along with your license, and if he wants to know if you have one and where it is, he'll ask.

How am I wrong? I said we have the right to open carry without a license. We also can conceal carry but a CCW is required!

I got pulled over once for speeding. I keep both hands on steering wheel until he gets to the window. Right as I rolled down the window he asked if I had a firearm in the truck. I replied yes. He took it and unloaded it.

After he let me go with a warning he went back to my truck. Put the mag in the glove box, bullets in the front console, and gun in center console. This pissed me off. He basically "searched" my truck without consent but used the excuse he was separating the pieces to my gun to do so.

Having to load a round into the weapon completely negates carrying a firearm in the first place. Your finger is your safety, if you do not have a round in the chamber you might as well carry an air soft gun.

I agree, there is always one in the hole on every hand gun I have!

Haha, I didn't want to say anything since this is a truck forum and not a gun forum but yeah. If you are not confident enough to carry your weapon with a round in the chamber you probably haven't trained enough and probably aren't confident enough to use it in a stressful situation.

Nice to know we have a few smart people around here.

Speaking of one in the chamber, what about revolvers? Fully loaded it's ready to fire with one "in the chamber".
