For those asking about receiving 2.8.2 and 2.8.3 again, but without the version numbers in the update, it looks like Ford is pushing out updated versions of them. While they don't have numbers in them but repeat the text, the actual revisions of the files being loaded have changed. Note below the "Previous Software" --> "Current Software" between them. I got 2.8.2 and 2.8.3 in June and Bluecruise has been great, but I suspect they did some bug fixes.
2.8.2 (bottom) and then the 2.8.2 revision I got a few days ago (top).
2.8.3 (bottom), then the 2.8.3 revision I got just today (top).
Anyone have insights into weird software versions showing up in FDRS for my truck? Some of the modules show DSMU5T-blah-blah-blah. Never saw the "DS" before.

I saw the following update queued up today. Seems like 2.8.3 which I thought I had, but Vulnox’s note seems to say these are getting updated. I already had the cams at speed that they seem to be talking about in this update.
I had another Priority Update last Friday so that was probably 2.8.2 maybe…
UPDATE: This update downloaded and installed successfully last night. ~900MB package. I’ll see if anything has changed since I already had these features in 2.8.3.
No OTA history on your truck for the past 60 days.
You and I are on the same boat. 2.7.3 failed back in June, and they've been stuck there ever since.
Yeah rugedraw,
I'm in the same boat as you, no way to connect to wi-fi even though any other device besides my 21 F150 connects fine. Without this connection I guess I'll never be able to get updates at this rate 2.7.3 didnt go.
Each attempt to connect to wi-fi I get an error message and the Ford app says we will try later.

Wait, I thought WIFI wasn't required for OTA? In theory, Ford can download updates through either WIFI or the truck's built in cellular connection. True?

Correct, there is zero reason to worry about Wifi connection right now as it seems even with Wifi the truck will use cellular. My truck always has solid wifi connection overnight and I have rarely seen more than a few megabytes of activity, even around times with large OTA packages which still came cellular.
For those having trouble connecting your F-150 to Wifi though, look in your router settings for a feature called "Band Steering" and turn it off. There are other threads on this and doing so resolved it for most. Band Steering tells a 5GHz capable device that is trying to connect to 2.4 GHz to use the 5GHz instead. Sync 4 advertises it is 5GHz capable but when the handover is supposed to happen it fails. Not sure if Ford is using a 5GHz capable radio but their software doesn't support it or what the deal is, but the truck does not handle it gracefully. I could never get my F-150 to properly connect to Wifi, then I saw someone on here mention it, turned it off for my garage Access Point, and haven't had an issue since.
Seems to be an F-150/Sync 4 specific issue too since my wife has a 2017 Focus Electric and Sync 3 on it (with entirely different hardware and that of course) connects just fine.
Quick question. Will i see a OTA update in the scriptable widget before it is sent to the truck? I see the post above that shows it queued up. Just curious if seeing a OTA queued up would be a good time to put the truck on a trickle charger or if it is already in communication with the truck?

Not sure and the widget, but any update that would require a charger means the truck has to be inhibited and you have to initiate the update manually......it won't auto-install. You'd be able to put the charger on it before the update starts.
I got a notification this morning that I had a successful update, but there want any information about it. Does anyone know anything about Priority update 22-PU0727-VI-FXA?
