They charged me for the first “try” on day one but did the rest of this for free.

Thanks again for all your help.

this is interesting. At least they were listening to you. You gave me the instructions for the USB key and it looks like they left it in here. Maybe something will kick in eventually.

I think the tech just forgot to pull it out. That has to be for the IPC update that failed to install. That one is done with a USB, too.

Default VIN check - No updates

Wondering if anyone can do a VIN check? Latest update was 3.5.4 and that was awhile ago. Replaced the battery about a week ago so hoping low voltage was previously the issue.

Gladly, but please remove the VIN from your post.

Your APIM was replaced on 10/27. The dealer did not program it correctly. You could have gotten lucky and the software that got loaded onto it was correct, but I would need you to message me a pic of the entire "about sync" screen on your truck to have the resident guru on another forum look into it.

Why did they replace your APIM? Also, did you have full-screen phone capability before they swapped out the APIM or did that feature pop up after the replace it?

DM'd you the pic.

APIM was replaced due to "grey-out" of the automatic updates. I didn't have full-screen until after APIM was replaced and received the update via OTA.

Ok, got your message. If you've gotten updates since the swapped it out and you have full-screen, then you're good to go. You're still behind, but your issue was resolved when they replaced the APIM.

Hey Rugedraw, I was wondering if you could check my VIN to see which updates I am missing? I know I am behind since I'm on the 23159 Rev 915. I just got this f150 used and had to take it in for a few recalls. I asked the dealer if they would do the updates while they had it. They said they attempted to update everything, but they were going to have to spend more time with it and for me to schedule a time to come back. I didn't know if I was plagued with one of the APIM issues that i have been reading about. I would private message you but I'm new to the forums and I'm still in the "messaging purgatory."

Post the VIN and then delete it after I check it.
