Modem is properly working and truck received OTA 6.1.0 last month. The truck is reporting low battery voltage and a code where the software in the GWM is corrupted. If your truck is not giving you any issues, then I would not worry about it.
Great, thank you very much. I was concerned about the status of updates due to truck sitting in the dealer lot for about a year. I have upgraded to size H8 battery since purchasing the truck, but it looks like I need to drive it more frequently to charge the battery. Thank you again.

Yes, if you don't drive much, the battery will slowly loose charge. It's a good idea to invest in a battery maintainer to hook up to it if it will be sitting for extended periods of time.
You did get a GWM update on 6/20 which coincides with when the problem started. Also attached are the codes your truck has recorded for the past 60 days. The check engine light is being triggered by the PCM not detecting the active grill shutters. There are some codes about adaptive cruise lost comms between the PSCM and IPMA being reported, but these are soft codes and actually very common. The SSM that is referenced by the HCM fault code can be disregarded. Whatever is causing the issue is not obvious, but it did start right after the GWM update. However, that same update is being sent to 2023 F150's, Lightnings and Mach E's and not causing these issues.
I know you like to modify your vehicles. Did you do anything with the active grill shutters recently?
thanks very much. Yes, I installed an intercooler and unplugged the active grill shutters. Prior to 24, except diesel trucks, the grill shutters used to cause a soft code, but not a CEL.
I don’t currently have a solution for that, but opening and unplugging the shutters is the single big warm weather performance improvement that I’ve seen especially with an aftermarket intercooler.
I will mention that as of this morning active Cruise has completely disabled itself and no longer works. Thanks again.
Yes, it is very old. I knew they didn't update your APIM. My concern is whether they installed and programmed it correctly. Stand by while I consult with the expert. I'll get back to you.
@rugedraw I got updated by my dealer yesterday and they only gave me this version here. VIN 1FTFW1E81MKE13360. I attached my old version and the version I was given yesterday. Any chance you still are able to give some advice?
Does anyone else thinks its pathetic they haven't pushed Bluecruise 1.2 to the older truck..... What is the holdup?
Amazingly slow and also different from what I understood at the time I bought my F150 (23 Platinum, March 2023). As you said, what is the holdup? Might be that there are some technical problems we don't know about, or it might be some Ford policy, or might be their software distribution mechanism, or might be waiting for resolution of government investigations of system performance. That said, even in the absence of software updates, it would be good if they gave us some information as to what Ford expects to happen. We are after all their customers and no doubt they would like us to continue to be, so it seems to me that giving us some updates would be a good strategy on Ford's part. Things are somewhat frustrating as they stand now,
It makes me suspicious that Ford remotely zapped this right after I posted my Vin. Literally none of the driver assist in my truck is working anymore, no lane keeping no regular cruise control nothing.

It's disappointing to me as well BUT I'm still on the 3 year included BC that came with the truck (Platinum '23 purchased Feb 2023). As much as I want upgrades ASAP I don't want something buggy or that doesn't work at least as well as what I have now. My guess is they have bigger problems they are prioritizing or want like a million miles on the new '24s before they roll it out to older trucks, or some combination of those things. What I will not do is continue to pay money for a service that doesn't get upgraded - to me that's just trying to tell me I'm getting something meant to evolve that is not evolving... I'll subscribe to something that continues to offer new capabilities or performance - if it's going to remain the same offer me a lifetime price and I'll take it or leave it.

The software works great and has been ready for months. The problem is with the deployment of the software. It was first sent out to a few Mach E in the Early Access program in December and a few cars got bricked, so they stopped the roll-out. I've had BC 1.4 since December and it is a HUGE improvement over 1.0.

Stand by. I am going to ask Jesse to take a look. Ford didn't do ****.

This is great! Your software is still about 3 years out of date, but you are out of the broken Sync software and you will start getting updates now. Now that you're out of the bad software, I recommend you look into FDRS to update the truck yourself. If you wait for the OTA process to get you caught up, it will literally takes years.

@rugedraw That is good news and bad news I suppose. Glad to hear im not in too deep of a hole. Would my dealer have the update available since they use the same FDRS? if so is there a number or version i can ask for?
I really appreciate the speedy reply and assistance. I am a fish out of water.
