I have seen links for a list of updates and version numbers but none of which appear active or accessible for me.

I really appreciate the speedy reply and assistance. I am a fish out of water.
They won't do it. You need probably 16 hours worth of work to get fully updated with FDRS. They did what they did because then can bill Ford under warranty for the work they did. However, they cannot bill Ford for the labor required to fully update your truck. Nobody likes to work for free and no tech is going to spend 2-3 days working on your truck pro-bono. The attached spreadsheet has every OTA ever sent to 2021-2023 F150's. Your truck will get 2.1.0 as it's first OTA whenever it gets sent to you.

@rugedraw I cannot thank you enough for all this information. I got further with 5 minutes talking to you than months with ford reps. Does me messing on FDRS void any warranty needs in the future that we know of?

@isthatahemi Man, we are stumped. All the software and config for the driver assist features seem fine and the map files for BC are fine. We have no idea why your driver assist features went ghost. When you get the issue resolved, lmk. I'd like to run your VIN through PTS after the dealer does whatever they do to see what they did to fix it.

I've had BC 1.4 since December and it is a HUGE improvement over 1.0.
I don't remember, did you upgrade to BC1.4 with FDRS, FORSCAN, or some other magic or combo? Any potential conflicts or pitfalls and how long did it take?

Both. You needs FDRS to install the latest IPMA/PSCM updates as those are not being pushed out OTA. Then you need FORScan to change the config that allows the new BC features to work.

The updates with FDRS take about 3 hours. The FORScan changes are done in 10 minutes or less.

Hmmm, might be something to consider after I get back from traveling end of next month. However, I have a new problem with my bed camera randomly not working and maybe I should get that fixed first. It was replaced in Jun 2023 for the same problem.

Not at all. FDRS is the same software Ford techs used and is fully backed by Ford.

Edit: With that said, if something happens to your truck while doing updates yourself, it is not covered by warranty. However, using FDRS does not void your warranty.

@rugedraw Sounds good to me! I see the Mongoose is the way to go with this type of thing. No way to connect via USB with FDRS? I am trying to find a good instruction sheet on how to go about this process.

Interesting phone call with my local dealer. They are telling me that when they had my truck in "they put the most current version available for my VIN". Does that mean my truck is not eligible for updates or are they leading me on?
