OK- I think I got a freaking update last night. Should have checked the ford pass app this AM before posting. Same version as you. Here’s what I did last night. made sure vehicle was driven for 30 min and was on WiFi… l went into settings general submit feedback….selected software update - wireless update not working …it said it was gathering info and it was submitting a report to ford. I did that 3 times. Turned lights off, set the parking brake on, made sure it was on WiFi, closed the door and locked it. F’ing miracle. Updated me to power up 2.1, but same version of sync. Doing the same thing today to see if I can make some more progress….still going to dealer on Monday to set them straight thanks to info from rugedraw.

Yes, you did get 2.1.0 yesterday. That is a GWM so it will not update your Sync version. Only APIM updates can do that.

Those that have downloaded the latest FDRS version, did you have any issues? It downloads, but when trying to install is says i need to have administrator privileges, and Microsoft edge blocks the download saying it is unsafe, and i am the administrator of the computer i am using.

Silly question, and sorry if it's already been asked/answered but I read thru the first 25/710 pages on the thread before giving up....

If I've used FORScan and modified settings in my modules to enable powerfold/extend mirrors, would that cause an update to seemingly get hung up? I seem to be stuck on 23-PU0813-DOR-UP2 for a few weeks now - the reminder will show up that says it'll install that night, but I never get a notification it was successful, and a day later the reminder will pop up again. Only thing I can think is that the system bugs out if it's expecting to see certain values and my values don't match...?

After several months of issues prior to this one, I did finally realize the battery drain issues, so I do know to throw on a battery tender every now and then (which is pathetic we have to do that on +$70k vehicles, but I digress...). I did successfully get an update or two after doing that, but seem to be stuck on this one now...

I'm still on 39.6.4 or something like that.

I'd need the VIN to check.

Yeah, I have sent a thousand feedback's and done all the above with no results for a year. It's connected to wifi 24/7 which does nothing evidently. If you get another update I may try again though.

It installed over 2 months ago. That's just an annoying phantom message. You can ignore it. If you have FORScan, reset the GWM and APIM and it should go away.
