Could someone please check my VIN 1FTFW1EDXMFB36102.
I received notice of an update that had to do with my “trailer position/license plate lights”
The last successful update I received notice of prior was on September 14.
with all the talk about 6.x.x I’m curious if I’m up to date.
Thanks in advance.

People around the globe - and even in parts of this country - don't have enough food to eat, don't have running water or adequate medicines, or are embroiled in wars, genocide, slavery, and death. TBH, your complaint about having to redo your presets after an APIM update sounds pretty ridiculous.

Yea, that's BCM update that was recently released that you got on 1/12. You've gotten all the OTA's needed for the 6.x.x updates to start rolling in. The OTA process is sh*t show right now. More than usual. Your truck is fine.

So did they change something with the OTA process, if you go onto the Ford Pass App it says the following requirements are required to start an update:
1. Your vehicle is stopped and parked
2. Your parking brake is set
3. The update is not schedule exactly at 12 a.m.
4. Your ignition is off
5. All your doors are closed
6. Your headlights are off
7. Your vehicle was driven for 30 min to ensure good battery SOC

So does that mean we need to set our parking brake every night and turn the headlights from auto to off?

I only set my parking brake when loading or unloading my Kawasaki KRX 1000 on the trailer, as to not rock the truck against the parking pawl in the tranny, so I do not believe it has any effect on updates.

I have found a good long drive is the best way to kick in an update.

I am part of this group...My truck has been trying to upgrade for about a month now and nothing happens. I get the notice that it has failed. I am hoping to find time to get it to the dealership in the next month or so.
