Oncev you do the APIM, a GWM may pop up which is 6.1.0 and then another GWM will pop up which is 6.2.0.
Thanks...Appreciate your help on this..

One other thing I noticed I had a CMDTC on the ABS and one other module that I cant remember right know.. I looked if there was a way to clear this but did not see anything... is this something that should be addressed at the dealer? or just let it go.

Just installed the latest GWM update on my 2021 Job 1 PB, no issues, nothing new, nothing broken. Phew.

Wait.....what? Do you mind sharing your VIN so I can see what they are? PM if you prefer to not post or publicly.

I would let it go. These trucks record DTCs all the time. They're never happy.

No difference as far as I know in FDRS between the dealer one and the non-dealer. To see the info, I would pull up your VIN in FDRS and download (in this case) the IPC and IPMA update as if I was going to install it. Then, I would have to compare the file names to another truck that is already on the latest IPC and IPMA updates (like mine, for example) to see if the ones in your truck are different. If they are different, then your IPC/IPMA updates are either older than the latest ones, or newer (which is what I was hoping for). In this case, I had someone with a lot more knowledge than I have look to see if the updates were the new IPC/IPMA updates coincide with BC 1.3, but that is not the case. The updates you see there have been out for some time now.

It is possible that pulling up the VIN while connected to the truck will pull more updates from the servers that didn't show up when you pull up the VIN by typing it in. It is also possible that once you install a module update and then perform a network scan again, it will pull another update that wasn't there before. Some updates must be installed in a certain order, so those updates won't be released for that VIN until all updates that need to be installed are installed.

I have been watching these threads about updates with great interest. I had no idea these trucks could be remotely accessed by the use of the vin and a program.
So I guess my question is, why can't we tell the truck to disallow driving/starts when the data port has been accessed without a code? Maybe we can.

Sorry maybe a bit offtrack for this thread , if so I will start one, I just didn't want a title to show up on searches as this type of theft is a serious concern now.
