You really need to contract with Rugedraw to provide assistance. He has been the most valuable source of assistance and info I and MANY others on this forum have had on these concerns. Ford needs to do better....
The ford account is just a useless PR bot. I also have a ticket over a year ago that I've yet to hear a single word about from Ford.

this is a 2022 F350 Super Duty. Haven’t got an update on it yet.
Last recorded OTA was 23 months ago. I am not familiar with the Super Duty OTA schedules so I do not know if that is normal or not, but it does not seem like it is.

I'm coming up on 5 weeks without my 2021 F150 XLT PB. 5 Star Ford in North Richland Hills TX has been doing their best IMO to fix my truck, and consulted with the Ford team multiple times. They are communicating with me as well as can be expected, but they are stumped. Still no joy.

Rugedraw, can I bother you again to check my VIN and suggest a way forward?

VIN 1FTFW1EDXMFB53269

Thank you for all your help to this community. Much appreciated!

That sounds like the same predicament I was in about a year ago. The guys at Bob Tomes Ford in McK were finally able to get things sorted out enough to get me over the hump of the 1.7/2.X issues that were preventing the OTAs. I have been receiving OTA since, allbeit at a snails pace like most others here in the forum. And now something weird based on Rugedraw's comments of what the Ford systems are reporting I have/haven't received... I'm just gonna let it ride for now. I have a Mongoose, and will use it if things get dicey again.

Good luck!

I would need a picture of your "About Sync" screen to have the guru confirm, but it seems like they replaced your APIM and have not performed a successful PMI on it. They tried once, the process failed, and they have not tried again. They have tried to update the APIM several times with no success, and have performed updates on many other modules, but unless they get the APIM properly configured to your truck, they will not be able to update it and get your truck right.

Default Check my VIN?

Just went to the dealership to try and get my Sync updated and they said I'm on the latest one however, I don't have full screen Android and car play. Any chance someone can take a peek at my VIN for any insights? Thanks in advance!

Your truck is on the same software it was built with and does not seem to have ever recorded a successful OTA. At least not an OTA where it would update your Sync version. Your truck is on Sync 21223 which is almost 2 year old software. I don't know why your truck is not getting updates, but they know damn well your truck isn't up to date because they connected your truck to FDRS and updated your DSP module, so they saw the laundry list of updates available for your truck. I would take it back and tell them your truck has never received an OTA, that your truck is on almost two year old software and to reference Technical Service Bulletin 22-2404.

Rugedraw, could you check my VIN for me please? I have a 2021 F150 and the last update it received was on Oct. 3, 2022 which was the 3.5.2 update.

You have no idea how much that helps! Let me know if you have a buy me a coffee link because in 20 minutes you validated something that I knew was wrong but couldn't prove.
