Yes, they are. However, 4.2.2 seems to be causing major issues with carplay users.

 

Is this update OTA only or does it also show in FDRS?

 

This one is can be obtained by both methods.

 

All but two were OTA, the two that weren't kept failing so the dealer did them for me.

 

2021 job 1, I just received 4.2.2 OTA.

 

I have a 2021 Platinum PowerBoost - just got 2.8.1 to install after some battery issues. Anyone have an idea as to which one might come next? I can be patient now that I know to hook up a battery charger once the big ones get pushed over the OTA.

 

Congrats! That one is a PITA to go through. 2.8.2 is next. If your truck is bluecruise equipped, you will be getting it with the next update.

Just picked mine up with new APIM but no software update showing. I'm not sure what I got. Nothing on app. Anyway you can check it? Thanks again!

I can check from the office tomorrow, but if they just installed a new APIM, the system I use will probably show the software version as blank. It takes time for the truck to sync up with Ford's system. It can be weeks. I can see what they did at the dealer, but I need to do that from the office.
