Not sure if anything else changed but after months of my automatic updates slider being greyed out it is back. Dealer did a factory reset and still had the auto update grey. I didnt receive a notice that an OTA update went through but I did have all of my preferences reset

Are you saying that the dealer did a factory reset then this happened or just that your dealer had done the "factory reset" at some time in the past?

In short, how long ago did the dealer perform this "factory reset"?

dealer did a factory reset 3 days ago. Since I got it back the automatic updates slider was still greyed out. For whatever reason this morning it was active and all of my settings reset. There's no indication that it received an OTA update

New message in Ford Pass this am.
Seems I received a Power-Up software update
over night. All systems seem to be working fine.

I had the same thing happen to me back in November after the 1.7.1 update messed mine up. My dealer ended up putting in a new APIM module, according to the work order they had a hard time updating the module themselfs, it took 6 times before it finally took. They also updated the IPMA and the SCCM along with updating Sync 4. I've received 2 OTA updates since then and everything has been working great.

Is it just me, or should that first message header not say "... rolling with the LATEST Ford Power Up" and not "the Last Ford Power Up"...? Sorry, I noticed that change from the initial OTAs I have received and made me scratch my head a bit... I used to say "Latest"...

Now that you pointed that out... I would think (hope) it's not the last update! However, in the message body, it states "On Going" updates. Only time will tell.

Ya, I was being a smart *****. Somebody fat fingered the code when they were updating something in the code I am sure. It has said that for the last 2 OTAs I received.

Dropped the Job 1 '21 Platinum off at the dealership today. Expecting them to do something to clear up all the errors popping up relative to TSB 21-2249 as well as hoping they can get my greyed out Sync4 Automatic Update slider (due to failed OTA back in DEC) "unstuck".

Also printed out the Dealer Awareness Communication about having them manually updating the Ford Power-Up software (for BlueCruise) to see if they see anything in FDRS yet (I doubt it).

We shall see.
