We shall see.
Hey, roadPilot! I would like to look into the Sync issue you're experiencing with your F-150. Could you please send over a private message with your VIN and the name/location of your local Ford dealer?

I had the same issues with my Job 1 and the dealership service guy's application of TSB 21-2249 seemed to clear up my issues. They all seemed to stem from the 1.7.1 OTA that had some error which caused a whole lot of issues. On the Power-Up for Blue Cruise, I hope they can get you hooked up. I am in the same boat, trying to patiently await the OTA, but I am afraid that it has pushed to April now for the OTA. Maybe the dealer has the ability to start rolling these out now with a direct vehicle download. Good luck!!

I recently took my f150 to dealer to have the recall done and have the sync 4 serviced. They told me that in regards to the update need is that they didn't have the repair software released yet to fix the problem with my sync.

No go (yet) on getting the failed OTA update "unstuck". Had to get my truck back, as my dad is flying in for a week. Will be dropping the truck back off a week from this MON so they can see if they can jam the latest Sync4 update via FDRS (the thumb drive install attempt failed twice).

No go on BlueCruise update at the dealership (they don't see anything in FDRS yet)

Dad flew back home on SAT, so I took the truck back to the dealership yesterday.

Latest status update: They are unable to flash the APIM, so they are ordering a new one. Part should be here tomorrow, so we'll see.

Good luck getting an APIM tomorrow. I've been waiting for one since March 1st.

Since you're in the same town... I'd be driving there and knocking on the door...

I'm not in that big of a hurry. Management tends to get upset when parts become missing off the line.

I guess I’ll add myself to to broken update club. Stuck on V1.7.1. Auto update greyed out etc. I have a fairly basic 302a and everything seems to work fine on the truck, no issues I’m aware of. Considering just letting it be stuck rather than going through the hassle of messing with the dealership - incompetence, no loaners, all that… What do you guys think? One last side note, should I try putting the truck on a charger for the night and manually scheduling an update? Just curious if that might work in this particular situation. Thanks!
