I finally got the message in Ford Pass that the BlueCruise feature of my truck was ready, 1 year free trial etc. Happy about that, but not sure how long it'll be before I get it back. They had it to update the software this morning because my driveline picked up a decent length of wire on a dirt road, took out a seal on the rear end. Was towed in Saturday evening.
I hear they can fix that with a quick and easy OTA update

21G01 and 22S17
he said 22S26 only applies to dead wiper motor?
Well see how this goes ...

Well, I figured out an alternate approach. I totally forgot that Intel CPU based Mac can use Boot Camp to provide dual booting capabilities. Long story short, it works. I was abler to get in and see my status on modules.
I have one CMDTC listed for the TRM. The description is "Invalid Data Received From Instrument Panel Cluster Control Module". DTC is U0423, FT 56 & ST 0B.
That same Trailer Module is showing Orange in the Module Overview screen. All the rest are green. This module was supposedly updated for the recall when in the shop last week.
I had one module list in the SW Update tab. GSM Software Update. I ran it and all came back as successful, but it is still shown on the list later when I came back in. As the screen states, all the other modules are programmed to the latest available SW level, yet I do not have Blue Cruise. My Sync is still at 2.3.1 (21281.244).
Not sure where to go from here.... I believe the APIM is the module where Sync lives, but there are no updates showing as available for this module.... There is nothing pointing to a reference to 21G01 or 22P08 programs...
Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.... Thanks all!!

that makes me cringe everytime i see that mess.
goog news this morning i went back to dealer about the 2 recalls and the service guy stated they were done on friday. but htey are not showing up on fordpass or online as done. they dont show any faults in forscan either except the emergency rear breaking thing

Did yours get updates all the way to BC...? If so, do you recall where your Sync version started...? I am at 2.3.1 and it says it is up top date... I thought 2.5.x is required for BC....

After i flashed gwm then the apim update showed up. When I started I was at 2.3.0. And yes I now have active Bluecruise. And the bed camera live full time on the big screen.

Well, my gateway is showing as up to date... no APIM update available to be selected... Both had been updated during the 2.5 week stay at the dealership as they tried to get BC working under the 21G01 program....
