I'm curious, how hard is it to align a 2016 f150 with Fox 2.0s?
Quick run down had them installed by a buddy who is a mechanic and at the same time installed 22x12 -44 wheels, took it to get aligned but they said they could not get it perfect. Is that because of the wheels i had?
Fast forward today where now i have 17x8.5 methods with 35s 0 offset for about a year now. Im noticing the driver front wheel wearing on the top side outer most portion of the tire .
Could the alignment machine not have gotten me in spec because i had such offset wheels? Would they be able to get it better with my new wheels or should i put the stock wheels on and get it aligned?
Im not very knowledgeable of alignment racks so looking for input. Would I need camber bolts?
Thanks.

What you describe is the camber is likely off. I'd just take it and get an aligment with the way it sits, yes, you may need camber bolts. Geez, I can't imagine -44 wheels.

I wont lie they did look great, but hated the ride with low profile tires on a truck
I do have the same set in 20x10 with 33s i might try. The 35s are nice but heavy!!

Those 35's on 17's have to ride pretty good with that much sidewall. I know my 34's on 17's do, even with LRE tires.

I wouldn't be surprised the alignment machine had issues on the huge wheels, but yeah, if you're lifted high enough, the camber can be off, did you get it in for another alignment when you took off the tonka toy wheels?

Did they rub? I'm about to pull the trigger on those tires and I have spacers.

Looks great. Have you been happy with it? I have a 2019 XLT and am trying to decide which way to go. Did you change the UCA's, or anything else?
