Got my Bilsteins installed on the front now, have had them on the rear for roughly 2 years now.

I went with the .79” setting, I was having trouble deciding between that and 1.25”, I decided to play it safe and go lower as I plan to be towing a boat hopefully soon, and with all the crap we haul around with kids the bed is always full. Definitely did want to be front high, and didn’t want to go any higher in the rear with a block.

I was 37” in the front and 39.5” in the rear pre install. Ended up at 38” front and 39.5” rear. I would have been safe to go 1.25 setting, but I’m happy with the results I got.

first drive impressions are very positive, my truck has 32K KM on it, I dunno if my stocks were already on their way out, but the Bilsteins make it feel like new again. Much better ride, not harsh at all, feels well damped and takes pot holes, uneven pavement, speed bumps so much better than before, and much less body roll and nose dip as well.

Since I live in an area that salts the crap out of the roads, I sprayed mine with clear coat before installing. I wish I did this on my rears as they are already showing corrosion. Hopefully that keeps the fronts looking nice for awhile.

overall the install wasn’t bad, took me around 5-6hrs including running to Home Depot to get a dremel to cut off the top strut nut and that whole process. I could have done it much faster if I didn’t have to dick with that.

Now to get an alignment next week

One random question, on the Stage3 install video, they remove a dust shield to get to the top strut nuts. My 2020 3.5 EB didn’t have them on either side, is that something Ford did away with in the later gens, or something that was never on the EBs?

Default Question for all

I am putting Eibach pro truckeveling struts on all 4 corners. My dash has a display that reads tire pressure or mpg also an off road display that showed the pitch of the truck ( incline, high right or left etc). Where is that sensor located? And after I install leaving kit and bigger tires do I need to have that recalibrated??
any info would be appreciated as I am dropping off the truck tomorrow.

Someone did the math somewhere earlier in this thread that worked out the difference being at most a degree or two. No need to re-calibrate it was the conclusion.

Been driving it for a few weeks now and love the difference. Only wish I had the time to do this sooner. I added the 5100 all around, front set at 2.1” and used a 1/2 puck that came with the Rancho UCA I put on. In the rear a swapped to a 3” block to add a little rake back (just over an 1” and then added airlift 5000 ultimate plus bags) for towing my tt from time to time.

Thank you! Do you know if they need to remove ,unplug, or do anything with the sensor if they are swapping out my shocks? I ask because I'm being given 2 different quotes. One quote is if I have "dynamic suspension" ( not sure what this is) Wich is about 200 more. And a lower quote if I don't.

As far as I know, no F150's come from the factory with "Dynamic suspension". Its standard strut style suspension, no electronics involved.

I seem to recall that on the 14th gen, from some trim level on up, they have a continuous damping adjustment on the suspension, I think the acronym is CCD or something. Don't ask how it works, I don't know. Just pulled up this link.

315/70/17 BFG KO2's on Gen1 Raptor beadloacks with a 2" RC level spacer, and 5100 Bilsteins in the rear.

Absolutely no rubbing or trimming, crash bars intact.
