Nice. Do you think these tires would fit if you had a 2" wheel spacers?

Not sure if I should start a new thread on this topic or not -- I'm going with Rancho QuickLifts, which I'm seeing will raise me about 2.5" in the front. I am not into the Cali/Carolina lean, so if it has even a hint of that, I plan to raise the rear a little.

So, for raising the rear, there are basically 3 main methods.... or maybe 4 depending on how you consider them. 1) add-a-block 2) replace w/ taller blocks 3) 1" lowering shackle 4) add-a-leaf

Suggestions? Who has done any of these? Thanks.

I don't think the lowering shackle is going to raise the rear !

5) air bags either manual or auto with switch from the dash.

Personally i like the rake because at level height when I attach my trailer it’s down 2.5 inches or hauling soil or rocks etc it’s down and then as you said you have the Cali lean. Cheapest version is to add the rear block. Air bags is good option if you prefer the look and handling of level but for that time when you are loaded heavy it offers the lift your level truck would show. Also a lean isn’t the way trucks are intended to be when towing so it’s against the engineering that has been out in place. However level is nice look for most and it offers a way to achieve bigger tires and offset.

DOH! That was a slip on my part! The "lift" shackles are actually shorter than stock in the case of our trucks, as I understand it.

I don't have a problem w/ the rake at all. I kinda want the rear slightly higher, but I also want more clearance in the front for tires as well as moving the engine and differential 2-3" further up from deep water. We get street flooding a lot in Houston. Like. A lot. and it'll happen in a matter of 15 minutes.

Looking good. Do you have a winch on that front bumper? It looks similar to my bumper setup but with my 12,000 winch with steel cable, I do notice a significant front rake again. I only have a 2" level but am looking at a full 4" suspension system to hopefully fix my rake issues now with the added weight. I do like a small rake, and with the rear add-a-leaf I did get a good rake, but the moment I added the front bumper and winch it became too raked for my liking. I also notice a fair amount of binding and knocking on rough terrain with the 2" level up front and want to eliminate that and get better suspension performance as well. Curious to know your experience with the system from RC so far. Thanks.
