How did you decide on which tire to go to? I’ve been torn between 275/65R20, 285/60R20 & 285/65R20.
The 275’s were too skinny for my liking. I saw them on another F-150 and didn’t like the look. The 285/65 was also in that too skinny category too I thought. I’d go with a 295/60/20 before those two.
I liked the 285/60/r20 because it was the right ratio between height and width in my opinion. I didn’t want to go much taller because of clearance. I wanted to make sure I had enough room. I had 305/55/r20 on my last truck and it was too wide for the height.
Got an 18 Screw Lariat with 20" stock rims and tires. Looking to bump up my truck a little on the cheap. What's my best option? I'm in Canada so www.tdotperformance.ca is probably my best bet to get a levelling kit. I read somewhere on here that anything above 1" on the rears isn't good for the stock rear suspension. Can anyone recommend me a kit to get just to raise my truck 2"? If I get 2" or 2.5" on the front, will I need to get 1" on the rear too?
So my 15' SCREW was totaled about a month ago, t boned into drivers side and rolled it. Walked away without a scratch. These trucks are very safe! Anyway wanted to show of the new ride with the Level, Wheels and Tires.

Thanks,

Tim it all depends how you want your truck to look (rake or no rake). I have leveled two f150's using spacers on the front only. 2.25" on the first one and 2.5" on the second. It's just my opinion but I like the level look over the factory rake. You can allows install the front spacers see how it looks and if you don't like it put a spacer in the rear. See my latest pic above of my 18' with a 2.5" front spacer only.
I recall asking this a while ago, but didn't get much of a response. Has anyone ran leveling kits on top of after market coilovers? I'm interested to hear if there is any long term impact as well as any issues that have arisen from this setup.

Hey,
Thanks a lot for your response. I'm going to assume that rake means "slope" in some capacity. I like the level look and wouldn't mind adding an inch or two to the height. I'm hoping to eventually replace the Hankook OEM tires with some larger KO2s eventually and figure I might need the extra space. That website that I linked in my previous post - do you have any recommendation as to the best quality spacer kit to do this? I live in Canada.
Wondering if anyone does a differential drop kit for lifts/levels 2.5” to 3”. I know there pretty common on Toyota’s for anything over 2.5”. Diff drop kit save the cv boots and less wear and tear on the axels.
Im just a little concerned as I will be using 4x4 often off road and on road up in the cold white north...
After reading through eleventy-hundred posts in this thread...THIS is the question I've been asking my mouse over & over. (He has not provided the answer. Yet.) Hopefully a human will. :-)
