I'm curious to know what the spacer does that goes between the spring and the upper mount. If this would make for better or worse ride. Pretty inexpensive too.

That spacer is what provides the change in height. A coilover suspension lift will always ride better than a leveling puck.

If you look at the picture, there are two spacers. One goes on top of the strut mount and, I'm assuming, the other goes on top of the spring, in between the spring and the upper mount hardware. As if the spring is pre-tensioned. Not sure what that does.

I do understand coilovers would ride better.
You were right! That secondary spacer is a pre-load ring that goes in between the strut mount and rubber isolator.
Has anyone used a spacer in combination with the fox 2.0 or 2.5 coil-overs? Say the fox 2.0's set at a lower setting with a smaller spacer. Seems like this would be a less expensive route compared to the Halo Lifts 3" kit, even when you add UCA's into the overall cost.
2.5” level, still on factory 275/55/20 tires. Sounds silly I know, but I have no idea what brand the level kit is. I just asked the dealer to level it, before I picked it up. They told me the heighth of the kit and I liked the look...so, I forgot to ask what brand it was.
