Yes sport mode is great. But that's not what I'm talking about. Advance Track Sport mode is different and is often overlooked. Advance track sport mode can be used with 'S' Mode.
The Sport mode you are talking about just changes the transmission shift points and rpm ranges.
My Bad...I was on my cell and skimmed over yer post, Sorry.
We've had about 4" of snow this winter, do we qualify for the Canada Mode?
Check out this video. It is what our (Alberta) roads look like this time of year (video taken today). Seriously, snow plows dont do anything in this province. Anywhere in the Atlantic Provinces there will be 20 times more snow and bare pavement lol, but out west winter is a free for all which is why you re more likely to find Big Foot here than a 2 wheel drive truck.
Can't wait to try this Canada mode out. I wonder if it works on the 2016 Lariat also ?? Here is what my manual says.
Once upon a time I had a 2016 Lariat. I know it has Advance Track Sport Mode and I also remember it wanst in the owners manual. The 2017 owners manual shows it. I will post a photo soon.

Worked on my '15 XLT as well. Tried it yesterday after reading your "Canada Mode" post!
Can someone confirm this one way or another? I was under the impression adaptive cruise works until you go below 12mph, then it automatically gets disabled, and you have to take over.
Secondly in regards to braking, I've read that the alarms can go off, etc, etc, but you have to stop the truck yourself. Now, when you tap/barely touch/etc the brakes and the collision warning is going off, I've read it will apply full braking to stop you as fast as possible without any additional effort (as long as you keep applying brake i'd assume). Can this be confirmed as well?
I really really wish they'd release full S&G adaptive cruise on Fords... even if it cost a few more thousand.
I imagine this has been answered before, but the 2018 f 150 I just bought has adaptive cruise control with full stop and go capability
Maybe I'm missing the obvious but I don't get the Double press* Sport Mode. When I press the T/S button it just keeps cycling between tow haul, sport and normal. I can activate all the other Advancetrac features except that one. What am I missing? I'm pretty sure there is a version of the fabled Canada mode in the U.S thats known as the Wisconsin mode!

Wrong button. You need to double tap the traction control button on the center console near the hazard light button, not the tow/sport mode button on the shift lever. (Top left button that says "OFF".)

Not a trick, nor a tip, nor either a hint, or maybe a hint for those that have collision avoidance on their trucks:
I usually clear all the snow off my truck before each drive, but this week I had the windshield full of ice and with the rush I left a bit at the top and drove off as I could safely see everything. Well, apparently the camera behind the rearview mirror couldn't and as soon as I got a car in front of me, the radar detected it and the dash sent a warning message stating the camera was obstructed (or something on these lines).
So now you know, if your camera is not seeing right it will tell you. Good job Ford!
