For it to be automatic, the truck has to be turned off and the driver's door opened. If the truck is running and in park, you have to hit the unlock button on the door.

Howdy folks, I wanted to share this that I have been doing for awhile. I found that using an inexpensive pair of bungee cords works well for sorting and keeping items from sifting around when traveling. It's not groundbreaking or probably new but it works well for me. Just thought I would share. Here is a pic for show.

This may have been addressed in the previous 134 pages, but I couldn't find it. I have basic Sync, 4 inch screen and love to play my ipod through the usb cable connection. Here's my question: Is there any way to keep the shuffle feature on? Every time I switch to the ipod, I have to go through the menu and select shuffle. Not bad on long runs, but in and out of the truck running errands, it's a little frustrating......

Thanks!

Great thread. Was investigating the Fob slot in front storage bin. My sons 2015 has it and my 2017 doesnt. Did they move it or eliminate it?

If you have the center console, look under the removable rubber bottom of the front cup holder. Even my XLT has the slot under there.

I believe for '17 it was moved to the cup holder - pull up the rubber piece & the fob will fit vertical in the holder

On my 17 RC it's in the backup slot located in the center console.
