Default Thanks!

Whew! I have nothing to add here other than this is my first post and I just powered through 94 pages of this thread in one sitting. The amount of information on here is significant. Thank you to all those who contributed.

So generally, you have to press it a couple of times to get things going.
I find this function really handy.
Around town, it keeps the car from upshifting to 4th, 5th or even 6th which controls speed(saves brakes!) and allows for quick acceleration when needed. It's convenient because the car will utilize the remaining gears as needed. This makes it WAY easier than M mode.
On the highway, you can downshift without accelerating. This comes in handy on some hills and saves gas.

If I shift to Manual and hit the plus it show the single gear level that I am currently in and it shows it in the same spacial area that I used to have all 6 gears showing - with the current gear being used highlighted..[/QUOTE]
Sounds right. Sorry, I don't use the M mode much. I find it more trouble than my 5sp manual LOL.

I've been offline a couple days - just getting back - So I put the truck in drive rolling slowly down the drive and I tapped the "-" sign once. Ya! I have all 6 gears back on my screen. Thanks.

Is there a way to set the settings on the 6 preset channels to be a mix of both siriusxm channels and FM channels?

Nope. The presets only relate to whatever source you are currently on.

If the fob is locked inside and truck is running (secured by door keypad), could someone smash the window to enter and then drive away?

I don't have push button start, but I'm going to assume yes unless some sort of alarm can determine the window has been broken and disable the ignition.

Just one reason I don't mind having to use a key to start mine.

Yes they can. I not sure you can set the alarm while the engine is running. Assuming not then they can probably drive until they shut it off. Assuming that you can set the alarm then if they smash the window and get inside, then opening the door or movement within the vehicle should set it off. There is no window breaking alarm on the Ford security system.

Yeah - so freaking annoying. I want to be able to mix FM and AM and takes multiple button pushes to go between.

Haven't actually tried using sync to switch. Just thought of it. May be simpler
