or tool box drawer liner - or kitchen shelf liner - both of which I have some scraps on hand. Reasons like this is why I never through stuff like that away.

Bought a used 2015 recently, and all the tire pressure sensors are out. How can I reset them (assuming they all don’t need to be replaced)?

It will if the steering console is adjusted electrically. Mine is manual and doesn't.

Quoting the post you're replying about might help us figure out what you're talking about.

Thank you to everyone for the great tips & tricks. Merry Christmas to all!

I have a new 2019 Limited White with the High Output engine. It is so much quicker and faster than my 2012 Platinum 3.5L EB. I too was looking and looking for the way to change the Ambient lighting color, and found this thread and realized the ability to change the colors is gone. I can change the intensity of the color though under vehicle, and then ambient lighting. There is a scroll bar that lets to go from very bright to off. I too wish I could change the colors to match the mood, but it's not that big of a deal.

Folding down the back seat doesn't give me any extra storage because I have sub woofers, and other items back there so it already full. I will say that the latch is much easier to get to than on my 12 as it is not as far down. I can actually look behind the seat and use a box wrench to easily lower the seat, where it was difficult in the 12.

I don't know if it's model year wide or just on mine but the Heated & Cooled seats are markedly better on the 19 than the 12. The seats will get warm or cold in just a few seconds vs several minutes on the 12. However the coolded seats are not working to hard right now because it about 50 right now, so I will have to see in the summer.

I have a friend that has an 18, and the Auto Start/Stop feature is much more peppy on the 19 it's almost NOT annoying.

Gas mileage is better on the 19 than the 12 so far. However I was disappointed in the mileage on the 12 the whole time I had it (which I still do, it's been relegated to a work truck). The fit and finish is so much better in the 19 than the 12, and both were Fords Top of the line.

TIP 1: I found this out before reading the thread, but....If you use the FOB to lower you tail gate, watch the surrounding! I read where people had close calls with trailers, kids, etc. I had one in a parking lot. My wife and I were walking back to the truck, with left over food from a restaurant. Not wanting to get the food smell in my new truck, I told here we could just put it in the back. I double clicked on the fob to open the tail gate, when the car next to me started up and began to back out of the parking spot. Since the tail gate has a dampened open feature, it didn't just drop but begun to open slowly. The gut backed out rather close, and just barley missed backing into my tail gate, or the tail gate hitting his car.

So if your parked in lot, etc, look first and make sure someone isn't backing out, coming around a corner etc. and suddenly they have about 3' less space because your tailgate came down (not to mention the other things that it could drop into). - BTW does anyone know when the dampened tailgate begin? Or is 2019 the first year?

TIP 2: I know it's already been mentioned, but it's worth repeating. Vehicles with BLIS, will only alert you with a visual indicator on the mirror - NO audible alert! My other vehicles have an audible alert as well so, if you are use to this just be cautious.

TIP 3: Take your antenna off if you go through a brush car wash. I saw a stubby bet bent, a stubby break off leaving the screw in, but worst of all I saw an antenna (stock) which got ripped off by the brushes, and started slapping against the truck causing all kinds of damage. I don't know what the outcome of each of these occurrences were, but I sure wouldn't want to find out.

TIP 4: I don't know when this changed, but on my 12 I could fold the mirrors anytime by moving the ****, didn't matter if the truck was on/off, key or now key. On the 19 I have to have power, either the vehicle running or in Accessory mode. So if you want to fold your mirrors in make sure you do it before you open the door, or cut power.

TIP 5: I use canned air to remove small debris from the cracks, and crevices around the buttons, and other items.

TIP 6: I go to a parts store, and get a tack rag. I use it to get all the dust and lint off the dash, etc., then use a lint free cloth to buff of finger prints. Works great.

TIP 7: If you put different valve stems on your truck like chrome etc. PLEASE put some Anti-Seize Lubricant before you do. Dis-similar metals can cause corrosion and cause you NOT to be able to remove the caps causing TPM to be replaced. I know of three people who broke their valve stems because they couldn't remove the caps. The valve stems on my truck are brass, so If I put plastic, or brass no problem, anything else could cause issues especially in the winter with the road salt, etc. I have use Permatex Anti-Size Lubricant for years and never had a problem taking the caps off. Just remember if you check the tire pressure, or remove the cap for any reason, just re-apply.

TIP 8: For those of you who have a tailgate step. I have had to haul a ladder which I needed to have the tail gate down. I raise the handle of the bed step, slide the ladder over it, then tie it off. I don't have to worry about it sliding out because the handle is between the rungs.

Tip 9: Don't like your factory door code, you can change it. I don't mean entering a personal code. Example I had a door code of 98907, not too hard to remember, but 07007 was easier to remember and it's the same code. Sine 12, 34, 56, 78, 90 are counted as the same numbers see if you can change the numbers around in your factory code to create an easier for "your" to remember code using the same combination. So if you had 21346 you could also say it was 12345.

Tip 10: If you have running boards, open the door, step onto the running board, and stand up. This will reduce the slide on the drivers seat which will eventually break down the pad, and leather. Your seats will look newer much longer.

Tip 11: When I back up if I need a quick burst of light I lightly press on the brake to give me more light. I also replaced the tag light with an LED. You can also turn on the puddle lights, and fold the mirrors in if you need more, but the LED tag light, and the brake press usually works for me.

Tip 12: Enjoy your truck, use it as you see fit. Life is short enjoy the day. Hug the ones you love, and be kind to others. Spread the love, and be solution to someone today.

12 days of Christmas, 12 Tips. I know you may have already read them, or know about them, but for the ones who didn't I hope this helps.

Again Merry Christmas!

^^^ X3 ^^^

h2ouup2 enjoy your truck.... better.... everyone enjoy your trucks

I don't know if this is posted, but the other day I turned on the light on the back pass side and forgot it on when I hope into the driver seat. It happened a few times before so I walked again back to switch it off. I can amazingly muffle my foot steps with the amount of swearing and self crossing I say
Anyway this time I huffed and puffed some swearing, but just told to my self "I'll turn off that &$#*^ light when I stop, maybe that'll get imprinted in my brain &*^$%&", but I pressed the "cab lights-off" button and it switched off that darn light yaaaahooo... No more swearing guys!!

I have always selected my cab lights to off. I like the orange light there lol,..... no, honestly is one of the things I needed the most in my previous gen 150, because picking up the sleeping children from their seats with the freaking light slapped on their faces was extremely aggravating. Glad I have the option now...
