Hints, Tips and Tricks
Tons of info here with lots of help!! You are in a section that is all about the 2015 F150s, you need to go to another section to cover your model year.
Secondly in regards to braking, I've read that the alarms can go off, etc, etc, but you have to stop the truck yourself. Now, when you tap/barely touch/etc the brakes and the collision warning is going off, I've read it will apply full braking to stop you as fast as possible without any additional effort (as long as you keep applying brake i'd assume). Can this be confirmed as well?
I really really wish they'd release full S&G adaptive cruise on Fords... even if it cost a few more thousand.
Can someone confirm this one way or another? I was under the impression adaptive cruise works until you go below 12mph, then it automatically gets disabled, and you have to take over.

This is what Ford says.
Adaptive cruise control and collision warning with brake support* slows your vehicle down as a vehicle in front of you slows down; if you don’t react in time to a possible collision, the brakes precharge and increase brake assist sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you brake.
Bed LED cargo lights.
I'm sure you're all aware there is a switch in the cab to turn these on but I just learned today that there is a button in the bed as well.
When looking at the bed from the back, near the first LED light on the left side there is a black square. This button turns the lights on and off. Difficult to see with a black bed liner.

Once you get used to the lane monitoring it seems quite normal. The cruise is fantastic, no more adjusting for every car in front that is a few miles an hour different then you. It will stop the truck if they came to a stop. I like the cruise more then anything else new that is offered.
Set the cruise and lane monitor and I tell my wife it is in self driving mode.

Do not expect it to bring the truck to a complete stop.
You live in My neighborhood , drive a 15 F150 , and a Durango, ........are You Me from a parallel Universe ?
I would rather have xenon HL's as I know how well they perform-which is very well indeed!!! Why doesn't a truck that costs so much offer xenons?
LED's are an unknown area in HL's for me(and most anyone else, unless you drank the koolaid from Ford to sell them), so I'll pass until I get to see what they do on the road and not on my dollar to find out. I'd like to see them performance tested for buyers!
Yeh, I'm OK with the orange ring as kinda cute and Audi,Chrysler and everybody else? has em, so why not?
