Well, I actually used my pin and purchase the truck on Saturday, which is why it stings even more that I don't have it yet. They have already cashed the check. I was not willing to wait until the last minute, Monday, when we found out the program was extended. And I was not willing to lose out on several thousand dollars.

I tracked the rail car all the way from Kansas. Our car got delayed all weekend in Spokane waiting for additional cars heading West. Then it was Cashmere Leavenworth chugga chugga Sultan chugga chugga Morton . The route to California/ Portland is much faster. Sounds like we're getting close please post a picture of your new purchase.

My truck arrived at the dealership, I'm going to kick the tires this afternoon, along with bouncing up and down on the drivers seat cover, jamming a drink can in my cup holder and pouring water on the sunroof Hopefully taking delivery Friday morning.

Push the adrenalin rush back.. and take your time looking it over. I'm going to try. I have already located a nice quiet parking lot to take it on my test drive. That way I won't feel pressured. It's your truck when you sign on the line. Enjoy! Post pics

It's all good, this will be the 10th Ford I've purchased from this dealership, the owner grew up with my Dad and Uncle. The salesman assigned to handle the paperwork knows how OCD I can be. I will say this is the first vehicle I have special ordered in 16 years and the past 6 weeks of being on this forum has given me a few things to look for, while reigning in the paranoia. Glad to have such a good relationship with the owner's family that he basically tosses me the keys to any vehicle I want to drive. They have a GT350 on the showroom floor that they may as well have an armed guard posted beside...I took my 10 yr. old son by 2 days ago and he actually unlocked it and let him crawl inside, gave him a huge thrill.

select "vehicle" at the top and plug in your VIN #

Edit: just checked your VIN and see a weird build date so keep checking that page daily
Typically, how many days after you have a VIN# do you see a change on the etis site?

I ordered on 2/22 and received a VIN on 2/26 but still not seeing any changes on ETIS

This is like the two weeks before Christmas

As far as im concerned etis is useless.. week after order and dealer gave me the exact vin and build date. Etis just now assigned the build date after it has already been built. Etis hasnt shown me anything i didnt know. Once you get your vin pm fordservice here and he will give you the info.

Little fyi ordered mine 2/5 build date was 2/29 so 3-1/2 weeks after order. Delivery date is 2 1/2 weeks after build date so taking roughly 6 weeks.

Try Research maniacs to see if you have a window sticker yet, build date will be on top http://researchmaniacs.com/Ford/Trac...CarOrders.html

I ordered my truck a few days before Christmas, didn't get my VIN # until 2/19. So when I checked ETIS on 2/19 my info was already there (showed a build date of 2/4) so I'm not sure how many days before/after the build date it takes for the ETIS page to populate. So I suspect since you guys got your VIN so much sooner than the build date, that's why it's not showing in ETIS for you.

I have my VIN, a window sticker, and ETIS shows a build date on Match 1st. However, COTUS still has no record.

How do I check shipping status?
