Thanks tom, that all makes sense. So having a small dealer leaves me 10 weeks out instead of 6 or 8.

Delivery date 6/26 (supposed to be)

Salesman called yesterday, said the truck showed on their system that it was supposed to have been here yesterday 6/27. Said it didn't show, doesn't know where it is or when it will be here. Doesn't have a way of tracking it on the truck. This is what I get for ordering a truck I guess...

 

Just received this from FordService:
"Still in transit, currently enjoying the scenery of Iowa. No ETA yet, check back in later this week!"
It's finally moving!
Now if I could just get a railcar number. Waiting to hear back from the dealer.

 

The wait is long.
Ordered it on May 2th. I'm pretty sure they forgot to place the order. When I called on May 10th for my VIN, they didn't have it, and the same day, Cotus showed 'ordered' as May 10th, that's why I think they forgot my order somewhere.

Then, the KS plant closed one week for maintenance, then, since I bought the Linex sprayed bedliner, apparently my truck has to be sent to another company for that job since it's not Ford doing it.

Now it is waiting to be put on a train I guess. Delivery date is July 8th (a Friday), but I think this is at the train yard.

So, the following week it should be at the dealer.
Bad timing, I will be out of the province for work, and won't be available to go to the dealer. So I will have to wait the following week, around July 18th!

Some people get their truck after 4 weeks! It will be 11 weeks for me.

 

I hear you man. Ordered mine April 13.....twiddling my thumbs, and no one at the dealer or Ford can give me an answer.

 

Well today is my build day according to the window sticker. I'm assuming later today or tomorrow my status will switch to "Awaiting Shipment". I hope it's shipped soon! I'm getting impatient and it's only been 2 weeks since my order was placed! I feel bad for you guys who've waited for long periods of time to get your truck....

 

I still think its funny UPS can tell you down to the hour of when a package will arrive, but Ford can't track a vehicle on a truck. Crazy.

 

Went from 21st to 15th to 10th. All today.. sweet!

 

That's awesome! Your order processing and build date is exactly a day before mine. Your original estimated delivery date was a day after mine......mine is supposed to be being built today.....I hope tomorrow goes for me like your day did today...lol

 

Two weeks to build date is good, mine was built a month after ordering.

If you're impatient after 2 weeks imagine how you'll feel after 8 weeks. Especially when you have no clue when your truck is going to be delivered.
